B) I went online I found one controversies that relate to ethics and photojournalism. The one that I found was about a photojournalist whose Integrity was questioned with an image. This one was important to me because it talks about Integrity and that's one of my biggest Ethics to live by also because integrity is huge in the photojournalism industry.

C) Integrity is the biggest Ethic/Controversy that I chose to talk about. In this Article The Case of Steve McCurry: What Is 'Truth' in Photography? It talks about a famous photographer that is well known for his photography especially the Afghan Girl. Steve McCurry was caught in a scandal when people found out that some of his images were altered with and he was editing them to portray something different from what he captured. When confronted with this he told everyone that he was not a photojournalist that he defines his work as "virtual photo telling" however this brings up the questions about integrity and photojournalism because he's well known as a photojournalist and he has won photojournalist awards including photojournalist of the year.

D) My view on Steve Mccury is that he did not use integrity when confronted about his pictures and if he edit them. As a photojournalist he should have known the rules of photojournalism and accepted that he was wrong for editing his images and taking away from the story. I understand that as a photojournalist sometimes people may want to edit some images to make them more dramatic and tell a story however, when the story you are telling is more for your personal benefit then it should not be allowed. Moving objects and creating a new image to me is wrong. My biggest Ethic is Integrity I believe that I would have handle the situation different. If I am known to be a great photographer I would not compromise that image of me I would want people to honor my images in a way that tell the true story. If I had to edit my pictures as a photojournalist then I would have to question my integrity and my true passion of that career. Sometimes doing the wrong thing can cost photojournalist their career and I believe that if I loved my job as a photojournalist I would not do anything to hinder my career.
